What is happening at Forrest Chase?

Forrest Chase is undergoing a significant redevelopment to redefine retail in Perth’s CBD. The redevelopment will reposition Forrest Chase into a world class retail complex complete with new fashion, beauty, dining and public spaces.


Who is involved in the redevelopment?

Forrest Chase is owned by ISPT, who invests in property on behalf of Australia’s industry superannuation funds.  ISPT creates places with meaning, delivering progressive and engaging experiences for its customers.

ISPT is working closely with the City of Perth to deliver a world class retail complex that complements the City of Perth’s built form and vibrant communities.

The construction will be delivered by Lendlease, one of Australia’s leading construction groups who pride themselves on creating places that leave a positive legacy.   Suggestions for improvements in delivery can be directed to Lendlease via a toll free number 1800 607 484 or contact us.


Which stores are open?

Myer, Woolworths, BWS, Goodlife Healthclub and Lifecare Dental will remain open throughout the redevelopment.  Check out Open Stores for more information.


Is AIC+T open?

The Australian Institute of Commerce and Technology will be open throughout development. View more information here.


When will the redevelopment be completed?

The new Forrest Chase will be delivered in stages.  The opening target for the first stage is late 2018.


What new shops will open as part of the development?

We are working closely with a number of exciting retailers to offer an improved retail and dining experience at Forrest Chase. Follow the Forrest Chase Instagram and Facebook pages to stay up-to-date as we announce our new retailers!


What is happening at Forrest Chase during the development?

There will be lots of exciting events and attractions happening at Forrest Chase and throughout the City of Perth throughout the redevelopment.


How do I find my way around Forrest Chase during development?

During construction, a number of existing walkways, bridges and pathways will be altered, however alternate access will be available at all times.  Conveniently located disabled and pram access will also be maintained through the works.  Whilst walkways will typically be closed between 10.30pm – 5:00am, there will be alternative access as detailed on the map below.

Will the loading dock remain open?

Loading dock access via the Council loading dock remains unchanged.

Who manages Forrest Chase?

ISPT has engaged JLL to manage Forrest Chase.  The Management Office is open standard business hours, Monday to Firday 9 am – 5 pm.  Their contact number is 9476 7676.


How do I contact the builder?

Can I still access the train station to David Jones or Carillon?

Access will remain during the construction period to both David Jones and Carillon via Murray Street and from the Welling Street train station overpass.  Please follow directional signage on site.
